Speakers
 Kaushik Bagchi, Country Manager, Information Management, Software Group, IBM India/ SA
Kaushik Bagchi is responsible for the Information management business of IBM for the India/ South Asia region.
Kaushik, with over twelve years of IT experience, has been greatly influential in acquiring new customers in all major solution areas of DB2 including Content Management and Business Intelligence. He has also played a key role in creating focused channel resources for the DB2 business; Training and enabling them, engaging with them to close business. In his role he has leveraged multiple routes to market to ensure reach and coverage in the territory both in terms of customers and solutions.
Kaushik is also responsible for collaborating with solution partners and position solutions based on IBM middleware to achieve customer's business objectives. He also contributes to brand specific sales and marketing strategies. Kaushik has been working closely with Developer Relations team to identify, recruit and enable 3 significant mid market ISVs.
Prior to IBM, Kaushik was with Oracle India for three years and was responsible for the core technology business and partner business for the eastern region. Prior to Oracle he was with Compaq and Digital India for 4 years as the brand specialist for Proliant servers and a PCBU member driving the channels network.
Kaushik has pursued his MBA with Majors in Marketing from Calcutta University
 Dharanibalan Gurunathan (Dharani)
A BE in computer science from Birla Institute of Technology, in 1993. He has worked in the Information Technology services space in the Manufacturing, Telecom industry and Information Technology Services industry throughout his career.
He has presented and speaker in various industry forums such as CIOL, banking meets organized by India Banker's Association, IBM Technology Symposiums on technology and business issues surrounding today's Globally Integrated Enterprise.
IBM Middleware services offer client growth enabling, cost effective service solutions; services that aim to provide SOA Integration Services, IT Life Cycle Management and Governance, Application Infrastructure Services.
He has played various roles in The Company in his 8+ years stint with IBM as a technical manager, project manager, business manager with a focus on services. He heads the IBM Middleware services business for India/South Asia in IBM's Global Technology Services division.
 Dr. Umesh Bellur, Associate professor, Computer Science & Engg, IIT, Mumbai
After his Ph.D., Umesh went to work in the industry where he has helped establish distributed object standards such as CORBA with OMG and J2EE with JCP . He worked for over 10 years at Oracle Corporation, Teknekron Communication Systems and Covad communications after which he helped found a startup in Silicon Valley called Collation Inc. in 2001 that was subsequently acquired by the IBM Tivoli group in 2004.
He moved back to India and joined IIT Bombay as an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering where he is currently. He is the recipient of the 2006 IBM Faculty Award in Autonomic Computing - one of the 5 faculty awards given worldwide.
His areas of research include: adaptability in service oriented environments and autonomic computing techniques for distributed component based applications and model driven development techniques in software engineering. These research areas include middleware design for different kinds of distributed systems including wireless sensor networks as well as QoS models for such environment.

 Vinodh Arjun
Vinodh Arjun is Program Director of BPM Strategy, in this capacity he drives the Technical Strategy for BPM identifying new areas of investments, requirements and in setting product direction for BPM. He also leads the integration efforts of FileNet BPM into IBM's broader BPM portfolio providing customers with end to end business value accross the entire spectrum of BPM.
